Bill Hader is an American actor, comedian, writer, and producer. He is best known for his work on the sketch comedy series Saturday Night Live (SNL), where he was a cast member from 2005 to 2013. Hader has won four Primetime Emmy Awards for his work on SNL, including two for Outstanding Writing for a Variety Series.
Hader’s best-known characters on SNL include Stefon, a flamboyant New York City nightlife correspondent; Vinny Vedecci, a Staten Island-based stand-up comedian; and Herb Welch, a weekend Update anchor. Hader has also impersonated numerous celebrities on SNL, including Al Pacino, Alec Baldwin, and Clint Eastwood.
